Thanks for this update! I just updated my phone to froyo last week and I will now try upgrading to gingerbread today. ^^
Does it include features like multi-touch and everything else that froyo has?

i think this latest ROM is without MT ? Correct me if I’m wrong. Update if direct from 1.5.

Everything else is excellent. boot up time reduced significantly from 2.5mins (froyo) to 1.25mins

Hi,

I a really Thankful to you for providing this update.
As for in India, there won’t be any upgrades from 1.5 from motorola, which is disheartning. So, work like this is commendable.
Bravo..

Thanks,

Is Flash Player 10.3 supported with 2.3.4? I can’t install it on my Backflip.

Reply

22 Keshav Gupta August 24, 2011 at 1:01 pm

Not supported, as the CPU in backflip is ARMv6 and minimum ARMv7 is required for flash as of now!

Hi Keshav,

My mistake. Instead of copying the zip of update and gapps on the SD card, I unzipped it on the PC and then copied it on to SD. Thanks you very much for this update. Ive just installed it and it works great – no issues so far. Thanks again.

Regards,
Sanjeet

I have been trying to find a copy of Z4root for my Motorola Backflip MB300. Unfortunately when I download from links I find on the internet my antivirus software identifies a virus in the download and deletes the file. I tried the “One Click Root” website it tries to root but is unsuccessful. Their list of phones supported does not include the backflip. Mediafire has deleted the software.

Do you have a copy or know where I can download one?
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Steve
